Hey there, Luceti! Name's Zack. Just wanna toss in the usual mention to newcomers that the local bar, Good Spirits, is in the plaza, and it's pretty much always open if you're in need of a little something to take the edge off. We serve more than booze, so don't worry if you're underage. I run the place, along with Shizuo and the lovely ladies Buffy and Meryl. Feel free to stop by anytime!

Just checking in to see if you've got the details for the Brave Vesperia job. Yuri's back, so he'll probably be taking over soon, but I figure I may as well handle this one first.


[AND WITH THAT DONE... Since Cloud's arrival, Zack has been giving some serious thought to his weaponry. With Cloud trying to stake his claim on the Buster sword, and Zack needing some way to break the tension, it's probably about time to make a peace offering. First things first, though- he heads over to the weapon shop to visit a blacksmith. After that, he'll head to Cloud's apartment, Buster sword in hand.

[Good Spirits is getting a brand-new visitor tonight. Not because she's a New Feather, but simply because she'd never been here before. Pao-lin never had much interest in alcohol,but since hearing from the voicepost that there were other drinks aside from booze in the place, she was now curious about what else they served here.

So tonight, she walks in to check things out. She takes a cautious look around before taking up a seat at the bar.]

[ So Aerith has fresh hot chocolate. This is awesome. Not awesome is scalding her tongue, which she's already done with hot foods she has no way of knowing are too hot. It's the little things that get you. (So far.) ]

Yeah, sure thing. Just give me a second- [He grabs a straw from the bar and sips cautiously. Hmm...] Seems okay to me!

And 'settled' really translates to 'unsettled'. This place looks picturesque. Really, it does. No monsters, no money, everything seems totally perfect. Totally! Except it's really, really not and this is incredibly frustrating. He's not sure what to do with himself.

But here he is. Looking at this stupid, blunt monstrosity that he picked up from the shops. It's a low level piece of equipment hauled in from another world. ]

[KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Good thing Aerith filled him in on where Cloud's living, or the apartment would be a bitch and a half to find. He's hoping Cloud is home, because lugging around two broadswords kind of sucks.

Hoo boy, though. This is probably going to be twitchy as hell.]

[Sokka is in the smithy being sad because Yue is gone, okay. But mostly he's just keeping to himself. Things are still kind of weird with Winry and he's just not his usual Sokka-ish himself when he's by himself. Since the smithy is empty save for him, Zack may need to actually go to the workshop area. That's where you'll find him, sharpening an ax on a mechanical grinder.]

[No blacksmith in sight is kind of disappointing, but the noise is a good indicator that someone's at work, so after a bit of poking around he peers into the work area, rapping his knuckles on the door frame, shouting so Sokka can (hopefully) hear him.]

[Yo Zack, this fairly regular patron is looking decidedly frazzled today because his best friend is currently eleven years old and kind of a brat. HOPE YOU'RE WELL-STOCKED.]

[Well, Zack did tell him to stop by once he was settled. So, that's exactly what Yuri's going to do - stop in Good Spirits and head straight for the bar counter. He looks pretty neutral, but ... yeah, after everything he remembered recently? He's gonna need a drink or two.]

[Now you're a sight for sore eyes, Yuri. Zack waves as he heads over, leaning on the counter.]

Hey, good to see you again! What can I get you?

[ Oh, did someone mention taking the edge off? Because it sort of looks like Lightning could use that right now. She might not be really known around these parts for any signs of a light-hearted or friendly attitude and all, but her expression seems especially sour today.

In other words yeah she's basically a ball made of edges but whatever you know what here she is. She slides into a seat at the bar, leaning her elbows on the polished surface. Cue long sigh. Cue running a hand through her hair.

This afternoon he happens to be seated on one of the barstools, with the sleeves of his suit jacket rolled up and his hands resting on the counter. When he sees Zack he shoots him a friendly smile.]}
