Just checking in to see if you've got the details for the Brave Vesperia job. Yuri's back, so he'll probably be taking over soon, but I figure I may as well handle this one first.

[AND WITH THAT DONE... Since Cloud's arrival, Zack has been giving some serious thought to his weaponry. With Cloud trying to stake his claim on the Buster sword, and Zack needing some way to break the tension, it's probably about time to make a peace offering. First things first, though- he heads over to the weapon shop to visit a blacksmith. After that, he'll head to Cloud's apartment, Buster sword in hand.

Fuuko has walked by that place a few times now but has never been in! What sort of things are there for Fuuko to try that aren't alcoholic? ...Is there coffee? Tea?!

[Good Spirits is getting a brand-new visitor tonight. Not because she's a New Feather, but simply because she'd never been here before. Pao-lin never had much interest in alcohol,but since hearing from the voicepost that there were other drinks aside from booze in the place, she was now curious about what else they served here.

So tonight, she walks in to check things out. She takes a cautious look around before taking up a seat at the bar.]

[She was satisfied with coffee and tea, but that last thing? What's that?]

Milkshakes? ...Fuuko has never tried a milkshake before! What're they like?

[Give him a moment to finish washing this glass, aaaaand- Zack turns to face the bar, grinning at the newcomer. Hello, new face!]

Hey there! Welcome to Good Spirits. Can I get you anything?

Whoa, never had one? Now you have to come in! It's a drink made with milk, ice cream, and all sorts of flavours, all mixed up. Definitely recommended!

[ She raises her hand at the bar to get someone's attention-- hello, housemate! ] Hmm, test this for me, Zack?

[ So Aerith has fresh hot chocolate. This is awesome. Not awesome is scalding her tongue, which she's already done with hot foods she has no way of knowing are too hot. It's the little things that get you. (So far.) ]

That sounds pretty interesting! Fuuko will be over soon, depending on how long it takes for Fuuko to make sure Nagisa-san will be okay! She's sick right now, but Fuuko has to step out for groceries today anyway...

[There's the sound of footsteps as Fuuko walks off for a moment, and then returns later sounding excited.]

Nagisa-san said she'll be fine! Fuuko will be right there!! [/journal shut]

So it's only if you have a lot? ...Guess those sailors I saw that one time back home had a bunch. What else do you guys have?

[Pao-lin scans the menu posted above the bar.]

Umm...a chocolate milkshake, I guess. With lots of whipped cream. [It's fairly chilly out tonight, but after running into a post-mallynap Hubert and his brother, she could do with a frozen brain at the moment.]

[ He's still getting settled.

And 'settled' really translates to 'unsettled'. This place looks picturesque. Really, it does. No monsters, no money, everything seems totally perfect. Totally! Except it's really, really not and this is incredibly frustrating. He's not sure what to do with himself.

But here he is. Looking at this stupid, blunt monstrosity that he picked up from the shops. It's a low level piece of equipment hauled in from another world. ]

Let's see... different kinds of sodas, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milkshakes... lots of options.

[Zack will be at the bar when she comes along, experimenting with some new flavours while he waits for more customers to show up. What is that multicoloured layer monstrosity he's creating? WHO KNOWS...]

Coming right up! [It only take a minute to mix, and before long he slides the finished shake over to her. Plenty of cream, as ordered.]

I haven't seen your face around here before.

[Oh wow milkshakes... But more than the milkshakes, he's curious about something.]

That's a lot... but what's a soda? I've never heard of that.

[Zack blinks at the question, peering down for a moment, and- oh, chocolate.]

Yeah, sure thing. Just give me a second- [He grabs a straw from the bar and sips cautiously. Hmm...] Seems okay to me!

[KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Good thing Aerith filled him in on where Cloud's living, or the apartment would be a bitch and a half to find. He's hoping Cloud is home, because lugging around two broadswords kind of sucks.

Hoo boy, though. This is probably going to be twitchy as hell.]

[ ... that's probably Aerith. he hasn't told anyone else where he lives. ]

Soda's like, uh... carbonated juice. Fizzy, lots of bubbles. It's good! You should give it a try.

[A few minutes or so later, Fuuko is on her way! Pushing the doors to Good Spirits open and holding a wooden starfish carving above her head as she walks inside.]

Fuuko has arrived! [Walking up to the bar and taking a seat now.]

Juice with bubbles? ...That sounds weird! I guess I could try it though, if it's good.

[SURPRISE, CLOUD, IT'S NOT AERITH. Zack opens the door and peers in, stepping halfway into the apartment so Cloud doesn't just march over and slam the door in his face or something.]

Hey, Cloud. Need to talk to you.

You're welcome to come by if you want some! Though you can get it at the grocery store, I think, if you don't want to go into a bar.

[He looks way too young to be drinking anyway.]
