Hey there, Luceti! Name's Zack. Just wanna toss in the usual mention to newcomers that the local bar, Good Spirits, is in the plaza, and it's pretty much always open if you're in need of a little something to take the edge off. We serve more than booze, so don't worry if you're underage. I run the place, along with Shizuo and the lovely ladies Buffy and Meryl. Feel free to stop by anytime!

Just checking in to see if you've got the details for the Brave Vesperia job. Yuri's back, so he'll probably be taking over soon, but I figure I may as well handle this one first.

[AND WITH THAT DONE... Since Cloud's arrival, Zack has been giving some serious thought to his weaponry. With Cloud trying to stake his claim on the Buster sword, and Zack needing some way to break the tension, it's probably about time to make a peace offering. First things first, though- he heads over to the weapon shop to visit a blacksmith. After that, he'll head to Cloud's apartment, Buster sword in hand.

Fuuko has walked by that place a few times now but has never been in! What sort of things are there for Fuuko to try that aren't alcoholic? ...Is there coffee? Tea?!

[Fuuko speaks in third person! That's. Kind of adorable.]

Coffee, tea, and lots more than that! I like to brag about our milkshakes, personally.

[She was satisfied with coffee and tea, but that last thing? What's that?]

Milkshakes? ...Fuuko has never tried a milkshake before! What're they like?

Whoa, never had one? Now you have to come in! It's a drink made with milk, ice cream, and all sorts of flavours, all mixed up. Definitely recommended!

That sounds pretty interesting! Fuuko will be over soon, depending on how long it takes for Fuuko to make sure Nagisa-san will be okay! She's sick right now, but Fuuko has to step out for groceries today anyway...

[There's the sound of footsteps as Fuuko walks off for a moment, and then returns later sounding excited.]

Nagisa-san said she'll be fine! Fuuko will be right there!! [/journal shut]

[Zack will be at the bar when she comes along, experimenting with some new flavours while he waits for more customers to show up. What is that multicoloured layer monstrosity he's creating? WHO KNOWS...]

[A few minutes or so later, Fuuko is on her way! Pushing the doors to Good Spirits open and holding a wooden starfish carving above her head as she walks inside.]

Fuuko has arrived! [Walking up to the bar and taking a seat now.]

[Zack lifts a hand to wave from the bar, tossing a handful of chopped strawberries into a blender.]

Hey there! Nice to meet you, Fuuko.

It's nice to meet you too... [Whatever-your-name-is! ...Oh, wait, she remembers him mentioning his name before.] Zack-san? Zack-san! [Waving back~]

Are you making a milkshake right now?

Sure am! It's a new kind- berry blend. Or, it will be when it's done. Wanna try it?

[Nodding!] Fuuko would definitely like to try it. There are strawberries in there, right? What other berries are you going to put in? ...Can Fuuko get a bendy straw with it?

[So many questions!]

Heh, let's see- strawberries yes, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries go in next, and you can definitely have a bendy straw.

[He adds a little bowl of mixed berries into the blender, turning it on.]

Success! Fuuko can't wait.

[--For that bendy straw. But also that milkshake! Her eyes light up as the blender is turned on and everything gets mixed together. It's all colourful and stuff!]

[After a minute Zack finishes up and slides over a tall glass of the shake, complete with a colourful bendy straw!]

[Taking the glass as it slides over and sipping some of the drink through her bendy straw...]

...This is really good! All the berries mixed like together like that makes them taste much better than when they're eaten on their own. [Turning down the bar and giving Zack a thumbs up.] Good job!

[Well now she's sampled one milkshake... Why stop there?]

What other flavours do you have on the menu? Are they taste tested and proven to be delicious too?!

I haven't made any new ones lately, but let's see... chocolate, vanilla, strawberry... oh, and people have told me that mixing the chocolate and strawberry flavours is a great idea.

Then that would be like a chocolate dipped strawberry in a glass, right? [...] It must be done, for the starfish!

[...Bwuh.]

For the starfish?

Right, the starfish! [Holding up the carving she brought with her so Zack can see.] Fuuko does not know if the starfish have a preference for strawberry or chocolate, so both combined is sure to make them happy in some way.

[Uh... huh.

Okay, first rule: don't question the customers. (Much.)]

Alright, chocolate strawberry shake coming right up.

[ONWARD TO MIXING FOR THE STRANGE STARFISH GIRL.]

[Embrace the starfish Zack. EMBRACE THEM.]

Thank you very much! Fuuko expects it to be twice as delicious as the last one.

[Placing the carving on top of the bar for now. After all, the starfish has to be there to taste it too.]

Well, it's one of my favourites, so I think it's pretty good. [He passes over the glass once he's finished, leaning on the counter.] Hope you like it. ...Both of you.

[Taking the glass and sipping at it. Does she have a milk mustache now? Why yes, she does.]

Fuuko definitely likes this one too. Both drinks have their own merits. [Turning to look at the starfish for a moment...] It's a pass.
