[Zack is hanging around the shop plaza, doing a little investigating to try and see if there's anything special about the place now. If the supposed portal is going to open there, he's curious to know if there's anything in the area that's changed. You might find him poking at the fountain, circling the sunken well, stopping and crouching down to check the ground beneath the snow sometimes. He's pretty focused on his work, though it probably looks strange.

[Cloud's shoulders tense at the sensation, and one hand stays at the back of his neck while the other moves to hook a finger in the collar of Zack's shirt, tugging it aside so he can work on putting a mark on the muscle at the junction of his neck and shoulder.]

[A quiet yet intense noise escapes Zack's lips, and he pauses, hand slowly stroking down Cloud's back. Just how far should they let this go before Cloud ends up frustrated?

[Cloud stops at the sound and the feel of Zack's hand on his back, taking a moment to catch his breath again and screws his eyes shut. He hides his face against Zack's neck; his cheeks are burning.

"Maybe we should stop," is on the tip of his tongue, but he really, really doesn't want to say it.]

[Zack hesitates a moment longer, fingers curling in Cloud's shirt, then kisses the top of his head, voice quiet.]

[Cloud leans back against the wall, spreading his arms out. Bring it.]

[Awesome, he gets a turn already. Zack wastes no time in leaning in, starting things off with the best kiss he thinks he can pull off, hands braced on the wall at either side of Cloud's shoulders.]

[Oh yeah, like you're fooling anyone, Cloud. But since he's not reciprocating Zack isn't going to reward him with more kissing, so he withdraws and moves on to the neck, which is the whole target of his challenge.]

Oh, not darn! Cloud lifts his chin, closing his eyes and letting his head tap back against the wall. His fingers tighten against his arm in an effort to keep himself from putting his hands on Zack.]

[That would definitely be against the rules. Either way, Cloud can't really stay completely silent in the face of this kind of attention so he lets out a breath, then gives a quiet, nervous laugh. A sheepish grin comes over his face and he lifts a hand to Zack's hair, clutching at it.] G-guess I lost.
