Hey, Brave Vesperia! I got us a job, if anybody wants to help out. Atsuki's asked if we can build a hang-out spot in the southern half of the village, so people don't have to walk all the way to the plaza just to have some fun. I wanna get started with scouting out the area, but I want to know if anybody's interested in helping out.

Same goes for anyone not in the guild- if you're bored and looking for some hard labour to keep you busy, I won't say no to the help!

[Zack is wandering through the village, doing just what he said- scouting out a spot that would work for the new building. What's most noticeable is that a) he's wearing a brilliant pink shirt and b) he's got a pink bow tied in his hair. Yes, it seems that he took Aerith up on her bet to wear pink like the manly man he is. He's got his journal ready to respond to whatever.]

[Cloud gives Zack a shove as he pulls away and they branch off to start looking.] How big an open spot are we talking?

[Cloud hums a loud affirmative as he scouts about, remembering nights of camping outside and looking for a decent spit if land to put down a tent. Aerith would set up a pot and send Yuffie off to get firewood, just so they wouldn't have to hear her chatter. Tifa would chat with Aerith as they readied the supplies, Barret and Cid struggling with the tent poles. He, Vincent and Red would stand guard in a loose, three-point circle, their senses the best to detect intruders and Yuffie too quiet to disturb the nearby forest.

[Zack glances over at him, studying his expression briefly before poking him.] You look like you're kinda lost in thought.

[Cloud shrugs easily, and crouches to overturn a fallen branch. A few bugs skitter away from the light.] Just remembering things, I think. Good things, [he's hasty to add, just in case.]

We used to set up camp, the eight of us. If we couldn't get to a town.

It was...nice. We got comfortable with each other. It was sort of like being with a family...even though it'd only been a couple weeks with some of the people that just joined us.

We just ended up clicking well, I guess. [Dammit, now he misses the rest of AVALANCHE. Barret, Reeve, Red.]

Man... I'm kinda jealous. You got to travel the world with all kinds of interesting people... most of my missions were solo jobs. The life of a mercenary hero's a lot better, looks like!
