Hey, Brave Vesperia! I got us a job, if anybody wants to help out. Atsuki's asked if we can build a hang-out spot in the southern half of the village, so people don't have to walk all the way to the plaza just to have some fun. I wanna get started with scouting out the area, but I want to know if anybody's interested in helping out.

Same goes for anyone not in the guild- if you're bored and looking for some hard labour to keep you busy, I won't say no to the help!

[Zack is wandering through the village, doing just what he said- scouting out a spot that would work for the new building. What's most noticeable is that a) he's wearing a brilliant pink shirt and b) he's got a pink bow tied in his hair. Yes, it seems that he took Aerith up on her bet to wear pink like the manly man he is. He's got his journal ready to respond to whatever.]

[Oh, Cloud. Someday you'll learn. It's Zack's turn to laugh, though, because really. He lifts his hips to help get those pants off, in the meantime.] You are so lucky I'm cooperative.

Oh yeah, I'm real fortunate. [Ducking his head down to kiss at Zack's chest, Cloud drags his fingers down his sides roughly.]

Nnnnf. [Zack gets real articulate when that happens, hands scraping through Cloud's hair.]

[Since working Zack up is his primary goal, Cloud hikes himself up further and lines their hips up to move against him with a low groan.]

[Zack gasps at that, grip tightening, and arches his body to grind back in response. God, that feels amazing.]

Missed this, [Cloud murmurs lowly, and continues to move against Zack as he ducks his head to nip at his neck.]

Mm... me too. [He'd almost added "you have no idea" but... well, he probably did. He tilts his head, urging Cloud to lift up enough to catch his lips properly.]

...missed you too.

[There's a change in tone and expression that makes Zack pause, sitting up a little. After a moment, he nuzzles Cloud affectionately, stroking a hand through his hair more gently than before.] I've always been here.

You know what I mean. [But because Cloud doesn't want to get into all this...idiocy and angst up their sexy times, he'll put a lid on it and instead go for Zack's bedside table drawers.]

...so, do you have anything in here to use?

[Zack lifts himself up on his elbows, gesturing.] Of course! Left side, second drawer. It should be in there.

[He can't help a snort at the precise directions.] You're awfully prepared.

You're a boy scout, if you had that ready just in case. [Cloud digs out the tube and flops down beside Zack, arm sprawled over his stomach.]

[Zack shifts a hand to stroke his fingers over Cloud's arm, grinning lazily.] It's not like I never thought we'd have sex again.

Your optimism astounds me, it really does. [If it was Cloud, he'd be way too busy being a sulky bitch about it than thinking "well maybe someday" and preparing for that. Good thing they were in Zack's apartment and not his, then.

He attempts to unscrew the cap with one hand since the other is drifting between Zack's legs again.]

You shouldn't even be surprised anymore. [Zack shifts a bit to give him some room, lifting a leg to scrape it up and down Cloud's. Slowpoke.]

[Oh fine then, GROPE.]

You won't be saying much of anything if I have anything to say about it. [Letting himself feel a bit clever for the snappy one-liner, Cloud rolls over atop Zack to kiss him and get the show on the road.]

Oh ha ha. [Which came out rather muffled considering he's getting kissed, but whatever. He's fully prepared to enjoy this show business.]

[The preparation process is a bit of a messy thing; Cloud hasn't done this in a year and a half and some details have faded with time. It probably takes a combination of encouraging coaching and exasperated taunting for him to get anywhere substantial.]

What the hell, it wasn't this complicated before.

[It's mind-boggling that it's actually been that long, what. Meanwhile Zack's just amused but trying not to look amused, because nothing makes Cloud fuss more than pointing out his insecurities.]

You're probably over-thinking things like always.

You're probably holding out on me. [Cloud wonders if he should be focusing more on working Zack up so the sex is actually hot instead of making conversation like they were meeting nakedly in Zack's bed for a cup of coffee.]

[But there's nothing better than a nice cup of hot coffee in bed.]
