[Backdated to this afternoon, because Akai is slow.]

Hey, Brave Vesperia! I got us a job, if anybody wants to help out. Atsuki's asked if we can build a hang-out spot in the southern half of the village, so people don't have to walk all the way to the plaza just to have some fun. I wanna get started with scouting out the area, but I want to know if anybody's interested in helping out.

Same goes for anyone not in the guild- if you're bored and looking for some hard labour to keep you busy, I won't say no to the help!

[Zack is wandering through the village, doing just what he said- scouting out a spot that would work for the new building. What's most noticeable is that a) he's wearing a brilliant pink shirt and b) he's got a pink bow tied in his hair. Yes, it seems that he took Aerith up on her bet to wear pink like the manly man he is. He's got his journal ready to respond to whatever.]

[Cloud doesn't even bother moving his hands or getting up from where he'd flopped onto the ground.]

Cloud pulls his hands down.

Props himself up on his elbows to give Zack a look.] You do?

Spike, you think I'd let you climb on top of me if I didn't think you were man enough?

[Cloud sighs and rolls his eyes, flopping back and tucking his hands behind his head as he crosses his ankles.]

I think it if was Aerith you'd let her do it, so I figured it didn't have anything to do with how man I am. [Although he does sound a little reassured.]

...I would not let Aerith top! Not like that, anyway.

You know what I mean. [He closes his eyes to enjoy the sun.]

It's not the same thing at all.

[SIGH. Zack. Stop harping on the specifics.]

Whatever, it doesn't matter. Forget I said anything.

Would it be better if I showed you properly?

[Whoosh, right over his head.]

[At that, Zack will do three things.

First, he will remove the bow and hang it up on a tree branch.

Second, he does the same with that horrendous pink shirt.

Finally, he will kneel down beside Cloud, lean over him, and give him a good old MANLY kiss.]

[The crunch crunch of Zack approaching does make Cloud open his eyes and half-sit up, but Zack's already down there smooching his face so he doesn't move far.

He considers protesting, saying they're too close to the road, that people can see. And that Zack's supposed to wear that shirt and ribbon all day.

...but fuck that.

Instead he lifts a hand to grip the back of Zack's neck and kisses back.]

[VICTORY. It can be their little secret. It's not like anyone but Cloud can see him now anyway.]

[At least this time they kiss until they need to stop for breathing's sake?]

...okay that was pretty good.

[Yeah, that's not bad. Zack grins playfully, then flops onto his back, dragging Cloud with him so their positions are essentially reversed.]

Oh, now you've got me pinned, you manly man, you.

[Cloud can't help but snort back some laughter.]

You're an idiot. [But he leans down to kiss him anyway.]

[And Zack really can't consider that as anything but a success, laughter and all. He does so love his makeouts.] You love idiots.

[M'kay too busy kissing to really make conversation. Also since Zack so kindly exposed that chest, Cloud will go ahead and pay some attention to it.]

[Yesss, his plan was a complete success. Zack doesn't mind the touching at all, winding an arm around Cloud's neck to keep him close.]

[For a good while Cloud reminds himself not to get too hot and heavy since they're technically out in public -if off the beaten path- but something shifts and instead of leaning over Zack he's straddling him. And...nipping a little bit too.

And gripping his hips a little tighter than would be casually acceptable.]
