[Zack is hanging around the shop plaza, doing a little investigating to try and see if there's anything special about the place now. If the supposed portal is going to open there, he's curious to know if there's anything in the area that's changed. You might find him poking at the fountain, circling the sunken well, stopping and crouching down to check the ground beneath the snow sometimes. He's pretty focused on his work, though it probably looks strange.

[His eyes widden slightly. Ah! He gets it now.] Yeah. [He peers around] This is where it's suppose to open; right?

That's what it said, anyway. [Zack scratches the back of his head.] Though I haven't found any sign of how it might show up.

I'm not one to know how portals work... maybe they don't need anything? Like it just opens up out of thin air?

I don't really know much about 'em either, actually. But I was hoping to see some change around here, just so we might get a clue. But I got nothing.

Well I'd help you look but [he laughs weakly and grins apologetically] I'm fairly new so unless it was something obvious like a big sign saying: Portal to come here!! I wouldn't notice a change. I hope you can find something! [Because he’d also like to know how this thing is suppose to work.]

No worries. The plaza's not that big, and I'm not really expecting to find much. But it was worth a shot, right?

Although... it would have been nice if they had just put a big: Portal to open here sign.

You're right, that would've helped a lot! Maybe it'll show up when the portal does open?

Hopefully. Otherwise people may not know where to go! [He grins before holding out his hand] My name's Vash by the way.

[Poor Vash. :c] Nope! I'm afraid Luceti's stuck with me for the long haul. How about you?

Actually I'm not sure. I don't think I'm going - I'd hate to forget the people I met here. But there's friend from my world here. If she wants to go I'm going with her.

That makes sense. I guess it would suck if your friend wound up leaving without you.

I doubt she'd leave without me. But if she wanted to go - I'd go with her. I have... something I need to take care of when we get home; but I'd like to do it without forgetting people. [Vash gets a small hint that he might have hit a sensitive subject. Just not completely sure.] But it’s nice to know I know one person staying behind [The fact that he met you all of two seconds ago means NOTHING to him XD]

A lady friend, huh...? [Well Zack's all for making instant friends, it's kind of how he rolls. So he's glad for the company too.] Well, from what I've seen over the journals, a lot of people have their doubts about it. I'm sure there'll be others still in Luceti even if it does work.

[Blushing at lady friend comment - uh focusing on other comments. Yes.] Yeah, there are a lot of people staying but when you're new it doesn't take many to leave to make a difference. I must admit though most I've talked to aren't going to try it. [He smiles] I hope those that do get home alright.

[Mwahaha, blush get.] I hope so, too. Even if it might get a little lonely here, if they're really needed...

[Zack won't hold it against him |D] Yeah, things usually do around here, surprisingly. I'm not worried. [Except he is, but he's not telling.]

They do? Well, that's good. From the way some people were talking it seemed like nothing good ever happens here. But I've kinda enjoyed myself so far.

Well, even if bad things happen, it's usually only for a couple of days and then things are back to normal.
