With Cloud trying to stake his claim on the Buster sword, and Zack needing some way to break the tension, it's probably about time to make a peace offering. First things first, though- he heads over to the weapon shop to visit a blacksmith. After that, he'll head to Cloud's apartment, Buster sword in hand.

I'm thinking that Good Spirits could really use some new options for what we serve here. Best way to keep a place alive is to stir things up, right? So I had a thought- I bet lots of worlds out there have different drinks that you can't find anywhere else, really unique mixes. Hell, even Luceti has a few now, right? Like Going Merry.

So basically I'd like it if we could get some drinks from other worlds mixed here! It doesn't have to be alcohol, either, anything's good. We can serve all kinds of stuff!

Hey, out there! Anybody who actually knows how to fly- got any advice? How do you do it? Magic, wings, a bit of both? I'd really appreciate the help!

[Zack woke up different this morning- not to the same degree as nearly everyone else, it seems, but enough to notice pretty damn fast. Getting changed was an adventure of yelping, flailing, and finally getting himself a pair of scissors to do some surgery on his shirt- because he woke up with a pair of very different white wings stuck to one side of his back.

It's not a bad change, mind you- after dealing with Angeal and Genesis for as long as he did, he'd begun to envy their wings and ability to fly the way they did, even if they were horribly unfair about their expectations of people 8| So after giving it some thought, there was really only one thing to do:

Fly.

Thus, he will spend the majority of the day learning to flap his new wings, jumping off rooftops, baffling over how the hell Angeal and Genesis balanced themselves in the air with such one-sided wings.

...Oh, and faceplanting in the snow. He'll do a lot of that. Thank goodness for durable SOLDIER bones, eh?]

Man, what a weird place...

...Is this working, can anyone hear me? It'd be a lot easier if this was a phone. Anyway, I'm Zack! And apparently I'm not really new here, but it's all new to me.

Still getting used to it and all, but- I guess the hardest part is just believing everyone when they say I was here before. I mean, you'd think you would remember stuff that already happened to you, right? But I don't remember anything about Luceti, or wings, or the people here. Does this happen a lot?

Well, whatever. Why let it bother you, right? So, I have a question for everyone I used to know here. How'd we meet? Are we friends, or are we still getting to know each other? Or should I even avoid you! What kind of stuff did I do here? There's so much I wanna know!

Oh, and BRAVE VESPERIA, it's work time! This is also to anybody who offered to help build that new hang-out house- the space is all cleared up and the ground is ready, and I've got the materials, but I need help putting it together! If you're still up for giving me a hand, everything's going down just south of the second community building. Thanks ahead of time!

Since it's kind of hot out today, I think we should have a party down at the lake if we manage to get the building together! ...Or the mains structure, anyway. Any start is a good one, right?


[True to his word, Zack is hanging out in the aformentioned spot with a whackload of trimmed, cut-out, and somewhat disorganized logs and wooden planks, plus an empty lot of leveled, stomped-down dirt for the building itself. That's right kids, it's time to build a LOG CABIN! He's at a table where a decent set of drawing plans are laid out; he's had a lot of time to work on this, so he had to come up with something that wasn't half-assed. He hopes.

Closer to the evening, he'll be over by the southern lake swimming and/or dozing in the grass, regardless of whether or not anyone joins him or how much work gets done. A good swim always helps after a hard day's work, woo.]

Also due to the lack of Bil for the moment, I'm handwaving the conversation in favour of an announcement: there were a few player inquiries, so Zack is requesting a karaoke machine be placed in Good Spirits. Hey, Brave Vesperia! I got us a job, if anybody wants to help out. Atsuki's asked if we can build a hang-out spot in the southern half of the village, so people don't have to walk all the way to the plaza just to have some fun. I wanna get started with scouting out the area, but I want to know if anybody's interested in helping out.

Same goes for anyone not in the guild- if you're bored and looking for some hard labour to keep you busy, I won't say no to the help!

[Zack is wandering through the village, doing just what he said- scouting out a spot that would work for the new building. What's most noticeable is that a) he's wearing a brilliant pink shirt and b) he's got a pink bow tied in his hair. Yes, it seems that he took Aerith up on her bet to wear pink like the manly man he is. He's got his journal ready to respond to whatever.]

Okay, the real reason for this is that... well, Cloud and I were talking, and something came up that we think should be dealt with before another fight outside the barrier starts up. I don't know why the Malnosso wants to send kids over there, but I think it's important that we organize some kind of defense for 'em if it happens again. If some of you hero-types agree to buddy up with the kids that get sent over, they'd be safer, right? They'd at least have someone watching their backs.

I know some of you younger guys probably think you're strong and can handle anything, and that's fine, but... well, I don't really think it's right for kids to be killing people, and I don't want to see any of you die, either.

I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of this time of year. I miss the sun being out all the time! Lately the weather's been so gloomy, it's no fun to go outside.
