So what kind of cool stuff did you guys get from the Malnosso? Anybody get a working cell phone? Can't find a signal anywhere.

Okay, the real reason for this is that... well, Cloud and I were talking, and something came up that we think should be dealt with before another fight outside the barrier starts up. I don't know why the Malnosso wants to send kids over there, but I think it's important that we organize some kind of defense for 'em if it happens again. If some of you hero-types agree to buddy up with the kids that get sent over, they'd be safer, right? They'd at least have someone watching their backs.

I know some of you younger guys probably think you're strong and can handle anything, and that's fine, but... well, I don't really think it's right for kids to be killing people, and I don't want to see any of you die, either.

Good idea. Whenever they send me out there, I'll keep an eye out for anyone stuck somewhere they shouldn't be, too.

Yeah, good point. I'll admit that I didn't get too detailed about everything when I first explained it, though. Guess it mislead people somehow.

I don't know about job divisions, but we definitely need to recruit more members. As much as I prefer a small group, it doesn't seem like we can get away with that in a place like this.

I've tried to recruit a few people but nobody's bitten yet. It's kinda depressing.

Seems like most people would rather do things on their own. [ ... ] ... You know, I haven't tried recruiting anyone in a while. Maybe I'll try giving it another shot the next time I see an opening.

You should! Especially with all the New Feathers all settled by now. Someone's bound to be interested!

Yeah, hopefully. Maybe getting some of the people here who don't or can't fight to join would help out a little, too -- at least when it comes to showing that protecting the people here isn't really why we're around.

You really shouldn't call me that anymore, you know. Some people really think I am the boss of Brave Vesperia. [And while he does sound somewhat exasperated about that, he's keeping a tone that shows he's only teasing a little.] But as far as something to do ... I guess just keeping an eye out for anyone who might be interested in joining and keeping with up patrols is fine for now. The boss seems to be working on something right now, so I don't want to start throwing big orders around for him or anything that might mess that up.
