Okay, door's open.

[Open door, meet Guy; get acquainted, oh, it's very nice to meet you door, now get the heck outta the way. Guy feels a bit like a burglar, walking into someone's house without knocking, but immediately goes on a Zackhunt.]

[Zack's just coming down the hallway after checking on the boys, so he's easy enough to find. There's a little yellow fluffball bouncing along behind him, about the size of a rappig; it chirps as Guy comes into view.]

Hey, that was fast.

I ran. [Why hello there. You are not a small fluffball, in fact you are quite a large...bird thing. Cute, though.] I'll assume this is Tammy?

How nice of you. [Tammy chirps her affirmative, halting and ducking behind Zack's legs to peer at this strange new person.] Yeah, that's my girl. Cute, isn't she?

She is. [Guy lowers into a crouch, hoping that appearing smaller would help her not to be so shy. He holds out his hand for her to inspect, should she want to wander closer.]

[Zack crouches down and gives Tammy a little nudge. She hesitates once more, then slowly walks closer, sniffing his hand once... then with a flap of her wings, hops up on his arm and latches a beak onto his hair, warking out a "Mama?"

Which of course results in Zack laughing his ass off.]

[F-fff, okay uh. Well, even though Guy knew the animals talked, he hadn't really been expecting her to talk, much less to call him Mama.] Er...no, I don't think I am.

[Shush over there, Zack.]

T-Tammy- [Oh god funny, his expression-] Tammy, that's not Mama.

[... "Wark?"]

No, Tammy, not Mama. Come here and say hi properly.

[And very reluctantly Tammy climbs down and behaves herself, though she's still eyeing him suspiciously.]

[Guy is hella confused.] Zack, why did she call me that?

It's the hair. She thinks Cloud is her mama - he was right there when she hatched, and... well, just look at the feathers...

So she thinks anyone blond is her mother? [Guy reaches out to ruffle said feathers. She's a lot lighter than she looked; she really is still mostly fluff.]

Blond spikes, anyway. She usually clues in pretty quickly, but the look of it throws her off. Cloud's embarrassed as hell about it, though. [Tammy goes about nuzzling his hand because she's an attention whore.]

[She's cuter than rappigs, at least. Not that Guy would tell Peony that to his face.] Why's that? She's just a baby, she doesn't know any better.

[Fluffier, too. Easier to cuddle. Less stinky. D|] I guess he hoped she'd grow out of it sooner. It's been a while now, after all.

True enough. So far she hasn't hated anyone, at least. She's really even-tempered. I think she takes after me.

That's good, one more Zack Fair in the world isn't a bad thing. [Guy is sincere with this one, finding a spot to scratch that makes Tammy warble happily.]

[You get a bright smile for that one; he was in need of a bit of encouragement.] ...Thanks, Guy.

For? [Tammy, you are really cute. Guy's starting to get attached.]

[As if she doesn't get pampered enough by Papa.] For coming over like this. I appreciate the company; I haven't been able to just hang out lately.

I was under the impression that you were going to put me to work.

True enough. So what's your favourite chore?
