Passed it again, huh. I keep losing track... wonder if it's a good thing.

Hey, so... does anybody have a particular day - or more than one, I guess - that means something to them? Not their birthday or a holiday or anything like that, I mean a regular, normal day where something important or significant happened to them. Could be good or bad, whatever.

[Zack's in a weird mood today, for... various reasons. He's also lounging in the hammock outside House 50, enjoying it while he can before the cold weather forces him to take it down, so if you happen to be in the area, feel free to bother him that way instead.]

Hey, I think I have even more of a reason to be worried, y'know. I've never heard any voices in my head, and all the people who do have wound up being kinda crazy. It won't kill anybody just to be sure, especially since the Malnosso made this happen.

I'm not "kinda crazy". [Said without any heat, looking down at the hammock's netting instead of Zack.]

[Zack sits up at that, hands grasping his crossed legs at the ankles.] ...No one's saying that. It's them we don't trust, not you.

[The hammock sways with Zack's movement, and Aerith shifts closer to the center for stability. She sighs; she can guess he didn't mean anything bad by it, but it doesn't help that he mentioned everyone hearing voices being crazy. Looks up at him, shrugs with one shoulder.] You'll know soon enough, okay?

[Zack offers up a hopeful smile. Don't be mad, please?] Okay. I'm fine with waiting a bit- I mean, from what I've heard, it's not being creepy or telling you to do bad things or anything. It sounds like a nice voice.

[But Jenova probably sounded nice when you had nothing else, too.]

[Well that's debatable. Considering Aerith's been hearing people die at least since she was seven, her idea of "creepy" could be really skewed.] This planet should have a voice.

Every planet should probably have a voice. Dunno if it's the same kind of voice, though, or if you should be able to hear it, since it isn't your planet. I mean, doesn't that make a difference?

...I don't know. Maybe that's why I didn't hear it to start with--because it's not my planet. Or maybe it's because I'm not as powerful as most Ancients? I don't think my father was one. [...She doesn't really know who her dad was, actually.]

I don't know. To be honest, I'm pretty in the dark about all of this, including the Ancients. [Not exactly a scholarly type, this one. Argh, what a frustrating situation. D| Though what can you do...]

[That actually gets a little laugh out of her.] Don't worry, you're in good company. I'm still figuring it out.

Well, unless things start to go sour, I think I'm probably better off keeping my nose out of it. I'd hate to get myself into trouble about something I don't understand at all. But... you'll tell me if something's wrong, right?

[She wouldn't mind if he tried. D| But at his question, she puts a hand on his knee reassuringly.] Of course. It'll be okay.

...Okay. [He's very trusting, Aerith. Don't go and upset him 8|] Well, enough of that! You want to do something today?

We could go get pizza?

[PERKING UP.] I'd love some pizza right about now! [bb you took advantage of his weakness.]

[She knooows :> although she'd really like some pizza herself. Sitting up in the hammock now.] When don't you love pizza?

...Goooood question. Probably never. [He climbs down from the hammock, offering a hand to help her down as well. Not that she needs it, but. Yeah. :|]

[She takes his hand, climbing down.] How gentlemanly.

[Grin. He does what he can. NOW COME ON HURRY UP WE'RE GOING FOR PIZZAAAAAA.]

[lmfao There's a little laugh, half-surprised, as Zack picks up pace, but she keeps up with him. TO THE PIZZA SHOP?]

[TO THE PIZZA SHOP! Where Zack will order the biggest, meatiest piece he can possibly find.]

[And Aerith will order a small cheese one.] You're going to get fat one day. [POKE POKE the abdomen that is pure muscle ~~and burns fat by its hotness alone~~.]

[Zack looks vaguely appalled by the very idea.] Aerith, I have never in my life been fat.

One day. [Because we're talking future tense here. Aerith pantomimes a dome over her belly with one hand, encouraged in her teasing by Zack's expression of "do not want".]

[That "do not want" look gets even more emphatic.] No way am I gonna be fat! I'll exercise till the day I die! [...For the third time.]
