Hey, Spike, I'm moving out for a while. Just figured I'd let you know.

[She pats his shoulder before picking up her bags. They do need to go, before they might have to repeat the conversation with Cloud. She's learned that much over the past week or so.] Yeah, you will. This is just for a little while.

[He's glad she's doing so well; she's had a terrible time this week. He picks up the rest of the stuff and starts forward, but not before he tries to pry a bag or two away from her.] Of course! Things always end up okay. [Except for one or two times he won't mention because OPTIMISM, DAMMIT, OPTIMISM.]

[Is that their motto now? Since Aerith's had a few distressing thoughts about Cloud's memory not getting fixed completely. Brb pulling those bags out of his reach.] I can carry these just fine, Zack. [In fact, swinging a bag that's just clothing to hit his rear end.] See? Now let's get moving.

Unfortunately, we won't be neighboring with the other Cloud. Though I think he might actually be a little relieved by that. Fifth building all right with you? It's not as crowded as the others. [And they are indeed headed that way.]

Fine by me. I think he'll be happier without the hassle. And the last thing we need is for Spike to think I've traded one Cloud for another.

[There's a small wince at that. That's exactly how Cloud would take it.] I wonder if he'll remember...you know. Everything this past week. [Kind of hoping not, actually. Considering how most of their encounters this week went.]

If he does, we'll spend an extra week on top of these convincing him it's not his fault and it's okay and he's not a jerk for it, so this really is a holiday.

Right. [Holiday mode.] We've done everything we can for now, so no more worrying now. What should we do for the first day of our vacation tomorrow?

How about swimming? I know you said you wanted to go, and this heat's gonna drive me crazy before long. It's as good a time as any.

Sounds good. You have a swimsuit?

Yeah! It was a hot summer last year, so we went swimming whenever we could. I'm looking forward to getting back in the water.

Me too. It's been a while since I last went swimming.

We'll have some fun on our own, and then when Cloud gets his memory back we can all go together.

Hope he doesn't burn easily.

He does, but he can take it. Maybe he'll be smart enough to wear more sunscreen this time.
