[Soooo he's been quiet for a few days, but as the mako poisoning works its way through his system, Zack's starting to speak out a little. Cue silly incoherent babblings.]

[Caught.] I cry easy. And you--you're sick. Worry about yourself. Okay? [She's trying to pull away from him now, although she does it slowly, and whether he actually lets her is another matter.]

[He tries not to, but his grip isn't the best right now, so he ends up clinging a little, clouded eyes trying to plead with her.] I'm okay. I'll be okay. I-- I'm worried... about you. That's all...

Shhhh. [It comes out without thinking, like she's trying to get a feverish child to sleep. She's finding it hard to resist the sad, cloudy eyes, and for the moment she lets him cling.] Shh, shh, shhhh. No worries.

[Probably a good way of describing him anyway, since he's acting that way. He shudders and nods against her shoulder, though he's not crying. He might not even be physically capable of it in this state. But he needs her to stay close, and he's glad she is, even if he can't properly tell her.]

[She takes his hand in hers and sits on the bed's edge for a while, hoping to reassure him it's okay, everything will still be in place when he wakes up. It's also a bit of comfort to herself.]
